Rainey Hospice House

Our Rainey Hospice House is a home-like environment that provides a soothing presence for our patients and their families.

When the patient’s symptoms can’t be managed at home, we offer our Rainey Hospice House to allow pain and symptom management focused care, our experienced clinical team members address these symptoms.

Located just off of Exit 34 in Anderson, SC, we are only 30 mins from Greenville and easily accessible to other counties.

General Inpatient Care:(GIP)

*Short – term, acute care Provided for pain control or other acute symptom management that cannot feasibly be managed in any other setting. The hospice team and physicians work together to stabilize the patient so that he/she can return to his/her residence at the Routine Home Care level of care.

Residential / End- of- Life- Option

If a patient is unstable to return home or remain in his/her home, the patient and family will decide with the medical team on the best option for the patient. Considered Routine Home Care, the patient will receive care 24 hrs/day at a rate of $300/day. Medical care is typically reimbursed by insurance.

Respite Care

Short-term, inpatient care for up to five (5) consecutive days. Respite stay is planned in advance and intended to provide family member/caregiver relief.

For many of our patients, a stay at Rainey Hospice House is temporary. Once a patient’s symptoms are managed and under control, they are able to go home with our specialized hospice homecare services. We are also proud to have our Rainey Hospice House available for respite care. This Medicare–eligible benefit allows patients to come into the Rainey Hospice House while families are traveling or gives caregivers a chance to be refreshed.
